Michael Roberson political style is slash and burn. So when he didn’t get his way on private school vouchers, Roberson didn’t limit his anger to just the school budget. Roberson walked out on veterans and seniors as well. Trying to make a political point, Roberson blocked money earmarked for a state-of-the-art veterans’ home and Meals on Wheels. After others negotiated a compromise on the budget, Roberson continued his opposition, voting against the funding for these critical programs.
